How to Display Pop Mart and Labubu Figures (and Keep the Cards)

If you collect Pop Mart, you know how it goes. A few figures on the desk turn into a full shelf, the blind box cards end up in a drawer, and the Labubu keychains hang off whatever is handy. Here's how to display a growing collection so every piece gets seen, and nothing gets lost, dusty or faded.

1. Sort your collection by how it displays

Before buying shelves or cases, look at what you actually have. Most collections are a mix of three things:

• Standing vinyl figures, the classic blind box size. They need a flat surface and look best with some height difference between rows.
• Plush pendants and keychains, like many Labubu releases from The Monsters. They're made to hang. Standing them up or piling them in a bin squashes them.
• Cards. Most blind boxes come with one, and they're easy to lose.

Knowing the mix tells you how much shelf space you need, and how much hanging space.

2. Use steps and risers on shelves

A flat shelf hides everything behind the front row. Clear acrylic risers or step shelves lift each row so the back is just as visible as the front. Group figures by series, and give a completed series its own step. It looks intentional instead of crowded, and it's easy to spot the one you're still hunting for.

3. Hang the keychain figures

Plush keychains look their best hanging, the way they were designed. A rail or a row of hooks on the wall gives each one its own spot, keeps the fur from getting crushed, and makes it easy to grab one when you want to carry it. Leave a little space between them so they don't rub against each other.

4. Don't throw away the cards

The card tells you the series and the figure, and it's part of what makes a piece complete. Display it right next to its figure, so anyone looking can see what they're looking at. Keep cards in frames or sleeves to protect the corners. If you ever trade or sell, a figure with its card and box is usually easier to move.

5. Go vertical when the shelf runs out

Shelf space fills up fast, and wall space is usually empty. A wall display with a rail system can grow with the collection: start with a few spots, then add hooks, frames or small shelves as you go, without starting over.

6. Keep it out of direct sunlight

Sunlight fades vinyl paint and plush colors over time. Pick a wall or shelf that doesn't get direct sun through a window. For your most prized pieces, a closed case with UV filtering acrylic adds protection.

7. Stay ahead of dust

Open displays collect dust, especially on plush. A soft makeup brush or a camera air blower cleans vinyl figures without scratching the paint. For plush, a gentle pass with a lint roller works. Put your rarest pieces, like secret figures, in a closed case so they need less cleaning.
